Schema Markup Generator
Generate valid Article, FAQ, or How-To JSON-LD structured data from a simple form.
What this tool does
The Schema Markup Generator builds valid JSON-LD structured data from a simple form — no hand-writing JSON, no missing commas, no guessing at property names. Choose a schema type (Article, FAQ page, or How-To), fill in the fields, and copy the generated script tag straight into your page's HTML. The output follows schema.org vocabulary and Google's structured data guidelines.
Structured data is how you describe your content to search engines in their native language. It's the qualifying requirement for rich results — the FAQ dropdowns, how-to steps, star ratings, and article cards that make some listings visually larger and more clickable than the plain blue links around them. It also feeds Google's understanding of entities and, increasingly, how AI search systems parse and cite your content. Pages with correct markup don't automatically outrank pages without it, but they're eligible for SERP real estate that unmarked pages simply can't get.
Generate the block, paste it before your closing head tag, and validate with our Schema Markup Validator or Google's Rich Results Test. Then make sure the content behind the markup deserves the click — that part is what SirWritesALot is for.
