What this tool does

The Sitemap URL Extractor finds a site's XML sitemap — checking robots.txt declarations, /sitemap.xml, and /sitemap_index.xml — follows sitemap indexes into their child sitemaps, and returns a clean list of every URL (up to 500). What normally means hand-unwrapping nested XML files becomes one field and one click.

A URL list is the raw material for half the jobs in SEO. Your own site: it's the input for content audits, redirect maps during migrations, duplicate checks, and 'how many pages do we actually have?' conversations. A competitor's site: their sitemap is their content inventory published in plain sight — every article, landing page, and category they've built, ready to be studied for topics you haven't covered. The sitemap also shows you what a site wants indexed, which doesn't always match what's live.

Enter a domain, copy the list, and paste it into your spreadsheet or crawler of choice. Pair it with our Duplicate Title & Meta Checker to audit what you extract, and with SirWritesALot to fill the content gaps you find in a competitor's inventory.

This is one tool. SirWritesALot is the whole workflow.
